Complementary Healthcare Plans Selects the LifeBalance Program

Portland, Oregon , May 16, 2006  – Complementary Healthcare Plans (CHP) has selected the LifeBalance Program to include in a new product line that CHP is offering called CAM Plus and CAM Plus Select Programs. This unique product line will offer access to recreational and cultural discounts through the LifeBalance Program, and complementary health care services at a reduced rate through CHP.

“CHP is tapping a new market with the creation of their CAM Plus product line,” commented Dave Miller, director of the LifeBalance Program and Oregon state representative for Health Promotion Advocates. “The health care benefits industry has recently recognized complementary alternative medicine as a common component to well-rounded benefits packages. Wellness programs are also increasingly being included as a way to prevent disease and enhance quality of life. Both advocate a proactive, individualized approach towards health. It seems only natural to combine the CAM modality with the health and wellness program model.”
